Unkal Lake

Unkal lake(6.7 km) is beautiful water spot in Hubli & is about 110 years old. This lake is spread across 200 acres of land. The Centre of the lake has situated the statue of Swami Vivekananda which is the prime attraction of the lake. It has recreational facilities for children.

Nrupatunga Betta

Nrupatunga Betta(4.3km), nested on the Unkal Hill in Hubli is a hill located in Hubli. It is the highest hill station in the twin city of Hubli-Dharwad and from here one can get a panoramic view of the whole city. Atop the hill, there is a Devi temple where visitors can offer prayers.

Chandramouleshwara Temple

On the banks of the Unkal lake beside the Nrupatunga Hills in the Hubli-Dharwad city is a 900-year-old temple of Chandramouleshwara. Lord Shiva is the deity of the temple. The temple has marvelous sculptures that attract any art lover. Due to its archeological importance, the temple is preserved under the Archeological Survey of India under the Act 1958 on Ancient Monuments and Archaeological Sites.

Shri Siddaroodha Swami Math
